The Pecan Grove Review is St. Mary’s University’s literary magazine that is printed every Spring semester. It was established in 1995 and features the writing of students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The types of submissions include poetry, essays, and short stories. With the help of Diane Gonzales Bertrand, Sister Ann Semel created the publication so students would have an opportunity to experience the publishing process. In recent years, Dr. Kathleen Maloney has served as the magazine’s faculty adviser.
