Pensacola, .Tune 2S.—(Special)—Committees from the board of county commissioners, Rotary club and chamber of commerce called upon Division Superintendent E. O. Saltmarsh of the Louisville and Nashville this morning and requested that as liberal a rate as possible be allowed on gravel from Century to be used in improving the Barrancas road between Bayou.Chico and Bayou Grande. Mr. Saltmarsh told the committees to put their request in the form of a communication and he would forward it to the head office at Louisville with the recommendation that the request be granted. Gravel in considerable quantities will be used from the county pit' at Century in permanently improving the Barrancas road and the committees are appointed at the suggestion of the bounty commissioners in order to get as good a freight rate as possible on the uaterlal. lIUTARf HIGHWAY TO FT.
