Good roads builders and enthusiasts are expected from many States. Several prominent men and officials have been in-vltod, in addition to the 2,000 Invitations that will be sent out to other cities along the route or the Trail from Florida to California. Those specially invited are President Woodrow Wilson; David F. Houston, secretary of agriculture; Governor Sidney J. Catts, and W. A. McRae, commissioner of agriculture of Florida; Senator John H. Bankhead, of Alabama; W. S. Keller, State high wav engineer of Alabama; W. F. Cocke, State highway commissioner of. Florida; Bogan Waller Page, United States Department of Roads and Engineering; Charles Henry Davis, President of National Highway Association; Henry Ford, Detroit. The Old Spanish Trail Highway, being on the Southern border of the United States, from ocean to ocean, is likely to be one of the most important military highways of our country, and it is tho desire to make the Old Spanish Trail Association convetion the greatest road convention over held in the South to stimulate interest in hastening the completion of the highway and necessary bridges along tho route. It is expected that President Wilson will send a personal representative. The scout car boosting and advertising the convention and the Old Spanish Trail will start westward on tho trip to Houston, Texas, April 23, stopping at principal citios and towns for meetings in the interest of tho project.
