In spite of the fact that Baldwin County is without means of
raising funds adequate to the maintenance of road mileage in the County, our Commissioners, realizing the importance of our project and the spirit of cooperation of our organization, have helped us in every way.

Some time back our Commissioners' Court passed a resolution, recommending our route across County for State and Federal aid. Recently there has been, more or less road activity caused by the passage of the Bond issue and some of it crystal!zed in an effort to have rescinded the action ■ taken in our behalf by our County Commissioners.
That the passage of the Bond issue would cause a difference of opinion among residents of the County, as to where the funds made available should be spent, was to be expected; however, we have no fear that any action already taken in our behalf by the County Board of Commissioners will be rescinded.
