W. H. BOUSLOG -Qn ' May 19, 1922. Kir. H.B.Ayers, -jo Battle House, Motile, Ala, De*.r Mr. Ayres:- I find that the Spanish Trail route is coming up to Slidell and am informed that the crossing of Pearl River vfill he above Logtov/n several miles and near the old county seat p%r Guinsville. Mr. Galloway and I have a line figured out from there and coming direct to Gulfport on the north shore of Bay St Louis and if you can stop off here sometime in the near future we can take you over this routbe and see what you think of it. I have disposed of 2200 acres of land with a three mile water front on the north shore of Bay St Louis to some Hew York and Montreal parties and they now have an option on 4000:: acres more joining the above which takes it up to Jordan River, the route we have figured out would make about 5 miles or road through there land. I think they would be willing to make this road ready for hard surface if located on this route. Beyond that through to Pearl River the road passes through two corporations land owners about 11 miles being nearly the entire distance through to Pearl River and Louisiana, these land owners would, if placed before them would probably build the road through there land This road established on this line would obligate the half hour time crossing the ferry at Bay St Louis and would save the $1.50 ferry charges for automobiles. I trust you are meeting with success in Florida and Alabama. Yours truly^_^ / UJ< If-
