OFFICERS LOUISIANA DIVISION O. S. T. JULIUS DUPONT. Pres. Houma, La. N. E. NORTH, let. Vicc-Pres. Lake Charles, La. OLIN LINN. 2nd. Vice-Pres. New Orleans, La. J. ALLEN BARNETT. Treas. Lafayette. La. W. B. GILL. Secty. Crowley. La. Mr. Harral Ayres, % Mrs. Henry Drought, San Antonio, Texas. Dear Mr. Ayres:- Congratulations upon the signal honor that you are to receive at the reception in the home of Mrs. Drought on the evening of April 29 th. It has been a long, and I might add, weary trail that has lead to the full appreciation of the invaluable work and unselfish time you have dedicated to the Old Spanish Trail. Regardless of what has been done or said in the State of Louisiana in the past year or so, I want you to feel that I have always personally had a very high regard and appreciation for your unselfish services. I hope that you will find the means and inspiration in this event that will develop plans that will bring about the realization of a financial program that will enable us to put on a National Campaign to make the country at large conscious of our most invaluable highway. There is no question that now that we have realized the highway, we must make its name a byword among all automobile tourist. We must do this for the reason that we have competitive routes, which are spending thousands and thousands of dollars for publicity, as you well know, and unless we now capitalize the thing that we have worked so hard to realize thru advertising, we will not receive the full benefits of our work. With kindest regards for your further success, and assuring you of my cooperation in the future, I am * Sincerely yours, Julius Duppht, President, La. Division of 0. S^T. JD*TF
