In reply to your kind invitation to he with you at the meeting of your association on the 18th and 19th inst wish to say that I am deeply grateful for same, and truly wish that it were possible for me to visit your city at this time, hut I will be forced to go to I«ev.r York City on the 15th and will not return until after your ccnvention is over.
