Spanish Trail Association, is self-explanatory^ Hew Orleans will send, a delegation to the meeting! Lafayette, Lake Charles, Crowley, Houma and other points have definitely advised they will be represented and other points in Louisiana will appoint their delegates as soon as possible, after the attached letter has been distributed. The letter i3 sent to-day to eveyy community on the Trail in Louisiana and our state will be well represented at the meeting. I am communicating with Biloxi, Gulfport, Pass Christian and other points on the Mississippi Coast and requesting $he Chambers of Commerce at such points to appoint delegates to attend the Houston meeting. I am also addressing the Mobile Chamber of Commerce and inviting representation. So much for the representation for which we are making ourselves responsible. I believe that you should cooperate with Ray Gill, Bill Furlong, T. P..Wallis and G. B. Morgan to secure representation at the Houston meeting from intermediate points as well as from their respective cities. For instance I understand that Kerrville and Schulenburgh, as well as Junction and the territory in the vicinity of Junction are in favor of reorganization plans. * I will suggest that your good self and others to whom copies of this letter are furnished can arrange with your local newspapers for publicity in connection with the matter.
