WHAT TRAVELERS WANT. Travelers like a well narked route juBt as they like to tour a noted highway; they write for and like to have the naps, mileage, auto canp and hotel information; community data, tho historical story and the other information an established highway association can gather and distribute; and they will remember and be led to tour the' Old Spanish .Trail when a number would be only a meaningless numeral. This marking and this preservation of the name is now our big work and we must succeed with this as we have succeeded the past eleven years in developing this trunkline for its service to our South country and to this and Old Spanish Trail friends can now help by whatever assistance seems best in their States. Old Spanish Trail San Antonio, Texas Harral B. Ayres Managing Director The Old Spanish Trail still has difficult sections. It follows a route of great attraction, also a route of financial and engineering difficulties. But all the states are building:. Thanks to the organised efforts of the Old Spanish Trail membership and of the engineers and highway officials, it is even now built and well maintained on ninety per cent of its long mileage. Inquiry at chambers of commerce and motor clubs along the wuy will provide dependable local Information.
