I have looked over your little story and find it to be all O.K. in so far as Louisiana is concerned. The distance from Morgan City to New Orleans is 113 miles. Prom New Orleans to Chef Menteur 22 miles; Chef Menteur to the Rigolets 9 miles which is nearing completion. Prom the Rigolets to Slidell approximately 7 miles; Slidell to Pearl River Station 7:6 miles; Pearl River Station to Mississippi line is about 4 miles, giving you a total distance of approximately 162.6 miles.
Advices from the Highway Department seem to	'	^
indicate construction work along this road will begin in the very near future.
