Dear Harral:-
tou will probably remember when we had the organization meet-:-ing at Alice and we persuaded Judge McCrory to go on down to the Valley you asked me to get a nice box of candy and send to Mrs. McCrory which I did. I telephoned the order to Fisher’s Drug Store and had it delievered, and I was surprised the other day by having him send me a bill for it. I was under the impression I had told you about it and supposed of course it was settled.
The amount is $4.50. Please advise.
Yesterday was a legal holiday and it gave us an opportunity to get pretty well cleaned up in the office for the first time in several days.
Our Ft. Davis scheme is working out the finest you every saw.
Weather conditions are not very favorable, and while it has not rained here for a couple of days it looks as tho it was ready to pour down any minute. We were planning to start on the Houston trip Monday but I am afraid we won't be able to make it.
We are getting quite a bit of nice publicity thru-out the entire State on the OST work, but of course as usual everybody is pleading poverty.
