Dear Mr. Ayres:-
I have just had another letter from the Panama City Hotel in regard to the $10 membership from the First National Bank Thichwas endorsed by Mr. McKenna*.
I asked you some sixty days ago to attend to this as it was under your direct supervision and a man that you had placed to solioit memberships*.
Inasmuch as you don't seem disposed to attend to it I have this day.sent the Hotel Panama a check for $10 in lieu of the one given to Mr. McKenna which they sent to us, and also acknowledged the membership from the First National Bank.
Neither of these people were responsible for Mr. McKenna being on the road for the OST, and it would seem to me that no matter how bad he turned out it would be up to us to at least show courteous treatment and not write our prospective friends such letters as you wrote the First National Bank .. some weeks ago*.
I should also like to know if he returned to you the receipt books which were sent him from this office at your request*.
In the event you don't care to write me in regard to this I would ask that you address the Association.
