Replying to your hind invitation to participate in the Convention to be held at Tallahassee on '.'ay 18th and 19th. leg to advise that it will be impossible for ns to at;end, as tt' enlistment of two of our members has compelled us to c.isb.jid. One member has already enlisted, a.id another goes to ITew Orleans this week for an examination.
Please pardon the delay in answering your invitation, which was occasioned by my endeavors to recuit a quartette which could serve. I found this to be impossible however, and though we regret it very much, it will be impossible for us to attend.
