Minutes of Meeting of Executive Committee cf Old Spanish Trail Association, Room 113, Gunter Hotel, October 33d, at 4 o1 clock p ra. The Executive Committee appointed by the Acting- chairman ox the jdvisory Board of the Old Spanish Trail Asaciation in accordance with a resolution adopted by the board, met in Room 113, Gunter Hotel, Monday October 33, 1933, at 4 o'clock p m. Present: Wimer, Walthall, V/uest, Furlong. Absent: Matthews. President Johnston and Managing director Ayres aid Mr. Beckman were also present. On motion cf Mr. Walthall, seconded by Mr. wuest, Mr. YJimer was elected chairman of the committee. A written agreement drawn up by Mr. Beckman, at the request of the advisory board, xaaxjSKXSKxisct copy of '.hich is on file herewith, was presented and was signed by Dr. med 3. Johnston and Mr. H. B. Ayres, president and managing director of the association, respectively. N. E. Brown was appointed secretary pro tern for the executive committee. Mr. Walthall moved: That a lett r announcing the formation and organization of the executive committee and stating the powers, etc., of the committee, be drafted by Dr. Johnston and a...roved by Mr. /vyres and the chairman of the Executive Committee and signed by all three and sent to all chambers of commerce on tie Old Spanish Trail. The motion was duly sec-nded and was adopted. Mr. Walthall moved: That all employes of he Old Spanish Trail Association be requested to meet with the Executive committee on next Monday at 13 1'clock noon. Room 113, Gunter Hotel, and that they be notified to come in for that purpose. The motion was duly seconded and was adopted. 'Mr. Walthall moved: that a letter be sent to the chambers of Commerce from Lake Charles,La., to San' -niego, Calif., requesting such information and data as could be furnished regarding the cashing of checks by J W Francis ana the credentials used and representations made in obtaining payment of said checxs, in order that full particulars might be laid before the Executive Committee for action. By unanimous consent, the meeting adj^ur^ed until 13 o'clock noon Monday, October 30th, 1933.
