Automobile travelers have been hindered iir completing the distance between' Mobile and Biloxi over the. Old Spanish Trail by the inundation o.f a mile and n half of the highway just cast of Orange Grove. This was caused by the overflow from Dog River into Nine Mile lake, in which place water reached a height of three feet, through which machines wore pulled by horse power when passage was necessary.
