I am glad that you are pleased with the Valley trip. It was a dandy piece of publicity. Wot only that, but it was real service to those people and they certainly appreciate j.to
The people West are lining up thefinest you ever saw on the Ft. Davis convention. Had a long letter this morning from Mr. Martin, President of the Auto Club at El Paso in which he says he will get the Automobile Club behind the proposition,and that means the El Paso end of it will be a success.
I appreciate your compliment on the Bulletin of last month, and your confidence in my ability to get another one this montho I have the material all ready for this month's bulletin and some-body will be looking for a job if it is not in the mail by the 17th. I don’t propose to give more than two days of grace after the 15th 9f the month if that bulletin is to be mailed hereafter, if I am to get it out.
The next to your la,st paragraph is the most interesting one of your long letter, which reads something like this. "Once again I will send you some money in a day or two." You know that means that ahout the day you receive this letter I will receive a check from you for all or part of ny salaryo
As to your last paragrsth with reference to your's and the Doctor’s troubles I have nothing to suggest. I have tried to express myself rather frankly along these lines in recent letters. It is none of my fight, and I guess I might as well, say, none of my business, but I certainly would like to see you two fellows get this thing settled some way.
This morning when I received your short note indicating that you had just writtem me, and the bill collectors began to pile in, it got me somewhat out of humor and I think in that letter I made it plain to yea just about how I really felt at that time, and I am going to send the letter on without any changes so as to give you a better idea about what I am having to contend with here, I still feel like that the problem could be solved by an annual election, if it was possible to hold one.
