?.S. I have made the necessary arrangements for entertaining Hr. McDonald Saturday on his arrival,together with Windrow, Faunfcleroy,and probably all three of the commissioners will be with them and probably one-or two Federal officials. The Qld Spanish Trail directly won't get very much publicity on it because we didn't have the money to take care of them, but I went over and made Bill Furlong shoulder the expense and Dr. Tohnston and myself will be on the job, and the mere fact that our names will appear in the write-ups will be sufficient for the OST people thru-out this part of the county to know that we are on the job. We are going to show them a good time.
I received the Dixie Magazine this norning, haven't had an opportunity to read it yet. if you haven't seen a copy of the Manufacturer's Record of January 12th be sure and get one. It gives quite a write-up of the good roads activites in the South.
