Ayres, Mgr. 0 S T Assn, San Antonio, Dear Sirj- I have to report the following additional collections at this place; *F. M. (pat) Faust, Membership, Rect. #3922, $10,00 • Apelt Armadillo Co., " " #3923, $10.00 « » « Listing, » « $10.00 Their Checks to cover. Faust says he is on trade to sell his Auto business and move to Kerrville and for this reason did not want renew his listing. I told him we would give him the benefit of the doubt and renew the listing if the travelog went to .Press before his plans were matured and he could Pay later and if he did sell we would take chance of collecting from the buyer unless we had advice soon enough to take the listing out, which was agreeable to him. Apelt plead shortage of cash at the Present and I made his receipt read balance due $5. I think his listing makes the catalog very unique and adds greatly to its interest to the tourist, as well as being a splendid medium for his particular bus iness. I am enclosing Copy for the Travelog for Comfort. You will note that I am leaving Mr. Weidenfelt’s name in the Travelog as Councilor. Think we can do this complimentary as he seems to have always been a staunch friend of the 0 S T, He came home from the Hospital a few days ago and has taken a relapse and will have quite a serious time from it I am told. Yours wery truly,-? " ' Field Secty. J- (J V f
