The automobile business, of which I am most vitally concerned in, is entering upon its dull season under normal conditions and since the recent stock debacle, conditions have been hard with the industry and our organization is straining its credit limits in order to hold on during the winter. I wish you might find something of interest in connection with Chamber of Commerce work, or perhaps in connection with the Highway Division of the local Chamber, because I feel that you are well qualified, from past experience, along lines of this kind. Of necessity automobile business requires considerable experience and the best talent is usually displayed by men who enter the business at an early age and who have been specially trained in their work.
I am glad you thought of me and wish I could offer you some real helpful suggestion.
