We are writing you to urge you and your President to attend this meeting, and participate in the same. On the morning of the 18th,,the subject of National Highways will be discussed. We have invited the President, Secretary, or ranking officer cf each of the ten Highways to make a ten minute's talk, giving their views on the subject, and telling about the Highway they represent. We are writing to ask you to be present, and if you cannot to have your President to come, if he eannet come designate your ranking officer or someone to represent your Highway. President Bankhead will appoint a committee on National Highways, which will make a report and recommendations for the Convention to adopt. We desire you or ycur represenative to be a member of this committee. Please wire on receipt of this letter your acceptance, or who will represent you so that we can publish your representation in the program, which will be issued Sunday morning.
