LOCKE'S GOOD ROAD MAPS OF LOCAL AND TRANSCONTINENTAL AUTOMOBILE ROUTES [M&S HARRY LOCKE FIELD ENGINEER COMPILER AND PUBLISHER OF AUTHENTIC ROAD MAPS 652 SOUTH OLIVE STREET LOS ANGELES. CAL. May 3, 1918. My dear Stewart:- I have grown to be a bum correspondent but the reason is that I have worked harder and more constantly during the last 18 months than ever before in my life. For the next few months I'll be on vacation, just mapping roads and getting business in the field, and hope to have a little more time for my friends. You are in my thoughts often and I vjould like to hear oftener. Next week I'll get out another and larger edition than my 1917 book was and you wi11 be interested to know that it will contain the O.S.T. And I would like to have the Auto Club or Tourist "'elcome Club purchase some so that they may be available for the public. The cost will be $‘12.00 per dozen net and they retail at $2.90 each. I recently had the O.S.T. designated on a new map of the whole U.S. which is the most complete and best ever published in the country. All other local names were sidetracked and the southern line named only O.S.T. I hope to get over and see you this season so do not be surprised if I drop in some day. Sincerely your friend.
