Under separate cover I am sending you a photograph of the Victory Bridge, across the Apalachicola river near Chattahoochee, Florida.
The arch spans of concrete are 110' in the clear, the bascule span provides a 100' clear channel for river traffic} the height of the finished roadway above the normal water level is 44'; from foundation line to roadway the height is 74 feet; foundations are on rock at a depth of 25' Below bed of river.
I trust that this photograph will be of value to you in carrying out your work on the OST.
Have received an invitation to attend the meeting at Mobile the twentieth instant, will be there if I can manage to get away from my work for a day or two.
