Tile Secretary-Treasurer shall attend all meetings ol' the Hoard of Directors and Executive Committee and shall keep a written record of all proceedings thereof, give notice of meetings of the Directors and Executive Committee, attach the seal of the Association to documents requiring same and perform such other duties as may he directed by the Hoard of Directors or Executive Committee.
The Secretary-Treasurer shall have custody of the funds of the Association and keep a full and accurate account of all receipts and disbursements. He shall deposit all monies and other valuable effects in the name and to the credit of the Association, in such depositories as lie may select, subject. however, to control by the Board of Directors or Executive Committee. The Secretary-Treasurer shall report at each annual meeting, giving tile financial operations since the last meeting and showing the present financial condition. This report shall be properly audited, lie shall disburse all funds of the Association as directed by the Board of Directors or Executive Committee, taking receipts for the same, and shall report to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee at their meetings. The Secretary-Treasurer shall give a surety bond for the faithful performance of his duties in such an amount as is determined by the Board or Executive Committee, expenses of said bond to lie paid by the Association. All drafts, checks, hills of exchange, notes or other negotiable paper shall be signed by the President and Secretary-Treasurer.

VACANCIES.
Vacancies in the Board of Directors shall be filled by the State Executive Committee in the State from which the vacancy occurred. Any vacancy occurring in the General Officers shall lie filled by the Board of Directors for the unexpired term.
13.
AMENDMENTS.
These hv-laws may he amended at any regular meeting of the Board or a special meeting called for that purpose by a majority vote of Directors present at such meeting.
14.
COLORS AND SYMBOL.
The Board of Directors is empowered to adopt as the official colors of the Old Spanish Trail, red and yellow; and to

further adopt a distinctive symbol, the same to be copyrighted.
