It is the sense of the delegates and citizens here assembled from .'.ouisiana, Mississippi. Alabama, and Florida that the High-ay Commission of Louv siana be requested to .e p’ blic as scon as possible definite action as to the completion of the Louisiana lin s of the Cld Spanish Frail, namely, from the Eigolets to Slidell, and from Fec-.rl River Station to the Mississippi State Line.
The people of four states are lookii •; forward eagerly to the completion of the Gulf Coast ' oulovard, and until assurance comas from the Louisiana Eight-ay Commission that it will ta's care of the missing links in that state, the project can not be certain.
THEREFORE, BE IT PE SOLVED, That this meetin; petition the E if hr ay Commission of Lcuisic.. a to ake public at an early date i/Leir plans toward building their links of this nationally important road.
This in order that the various states interested may be enoouraged to go forward with work on the highway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:, That th5s meeting express its regret that it was impossible for the Louisiana Highway Commission to be present.
