RESOLVED, That v:o designate the Peuseoola-Iiobila-Fississippi Gulf-lew Orleans section of the Old Spanish Trail as the GULF TOAST BOULEVARD, and that it he given primary r cognition in construction program.
vs BELIEVE this Gulf Coast Boulevard v/i! 1 develop into national recognition and populartirv and bring great prosperty thru the the social, commercial and agricultural development that will result. -"e recognize this southern transcontinental highv/ay must heoome thr reservoir of all nojfcth and south highways and that its construction according to the highest federal standards is necessary in order that it nay carry the traffic that will flow into it from the southern hound highways building in all the states.
’.TS ALSO HECCCtIIZS that the couplet ion of this section of the Old Spanish Trail is now immediately essential to meet the construction in progress or financed and ready, both eastward and westward, or we'.will he blocking instead of opening sh’s hi lr ay from the Atlantic to the Pacific and to Mexico.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That when this Conference adjourns it adjourns to meet in annual conference hereafter, and that we hereby elect for one year a .resident, a "ice-1 resident and a. Secretary of the Conference.
