My dear Chris:
I have your letter of May 12th re change name of O.S.T. It seems to me that this is inexcusable. My suggestion is tha-fc you and everybody else interested along the O.S.T. get busy, organize a good strong committee," and go to Austin before the Commission and put it up to them straight.
I think this committee should also call on Governor Ferguson and present it there. Individual efforts will get you nowhere. You must do it through organization. However, it would also be very well for you to have the citizens along the route to write Governor Ferguson. Get as many of Governor Ferguson's old friends from achulenburg, Flatonia, Seguin, Weimar, Rosenberg and so on, to write. He has many friends throughout that section. They have stuck to him, and he v/ill listen to them.
