(Suttter^otfd March 2, 1922 PRIVATE OFFICE PERCY TYRRELL MANAGER Mr. H. B. Ayres, c/o Battle House, Mobile, Alabama. My dear Ayres:- Brom day to day I have been expecting you, as I get information from your office that you are expected any day now, but you fail to show up. I hope you are having the best of success in interesting the Eastern members of the O.S.T. The enclosed is the heading of a pamphlet that I found on my desk this morning, and it is for this reason I am writing you, to ascertain if in the past it has not been the policy of those interested in the Cld Spanish Trail to state Gunter Hotel as headquarters. You will notice it says—The Old Spanish Trail Association, Headquarters, San Antonio, Texas. I was under the impression way back when I used to do a little work with you, that all such reading matter going out relative to the Trail, would bear the potation that the Association headquarters was the Gunter Hotel. I am taking this up with you direct because I think you are the proper party. Whatever action you rnay decide I will abide by. With kind regards and best wishes, I am. i On the Old Spanish Trail—Miami to Los Angeles San Antonio—The Halfway House SAN ANTONIO HOTEL CO. Yours very truly.
