THAT WHEREAS on tho 19th. day of January, 1939 there was present in Junction, Texas representatives from the different towns on the 010. Spanish Trail from San Antonio to Balmorhea, inclusive, who were directed and instructed by said toxvns to act as representatives in a committee on "ways and Means" for the purpose of obtaining, directing, and fostering an increase of tourist traffic over the Old Spanish Trail, and
WHEREAS this result is to bo obtained by; (1) The establishment and maintenance of sir or more large, standard bill-boards, four to be located west of Pan Horn, Texas, and two to bo established east of San Antonio Texas; (3) The composition, printing, and distribution of approximately fifty thousand standard folders, devoting equal space and attention to all counties interested, and (3) The establishment of a reserve fund for incidental expenditures, and
WHEREAS it is the desire of us, the under signs cl, to guarantee to pay the amount assessed against our town and county by the said committee, and WHEREAS Emil A. Loeffler of Junction, Kimble County, Texas was selected by voto of said representatives to act as chairman of said committee and manager of the Old Spanish Trail Hill division,
riOW THEREFORE it is hereby agreed between Emil A. loeffler of Kimble County, Texas {or his successors,) party of the first part, and tho subscribers hereto, who are residents of Bexar County, Texas, parties of the second part; that: (1) Said party of the first part will cause to be erected and maintained for a period of three years such bill-boards as are outlined above and in such locations as are described; (3) SaM party of the first part will superintend the composition, publication, and distribution of approximately fifty thousand folders mentioned above; and (3) In addition to tho abovo outlinod specific expenditures, any surplus funds accruing to this Association will be deposited by the said Emil A. Loeffler in a reserve fund and will be usod by said Emil A. loeffler as incidental funds for the conducting and furtherance of tho affairs and interests of this Association, and
