"MARKED BY THE DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION AND THE STATE OF TEXAS A. D. 1918."
The concrete foundations upon which said boulders shall be set shall be of the size four feet, six inches by three feet, six inches and one foot thick, made of concrete in proportion of one, three and five, that is, one part cement, three parts sand and five parts gravel or crushed rock; that said boulders shall be made and erected as above stated at the expense of said AoL.Gooch, and work finished by April 1st,, 1918,
That in consideration of the making and erecting of said boulders, the said State of Texas andilirs.Lipscomb Norvell, ear ties of the first part, agree to pay to the said A.L.Gooch,
"the sum of Four Thousand Three Hundred ($4,300.00) Dollars, said sum payable as follows:*
Twenty ($20.00) Dollars per marker or boulder when name is completed and loaded upon car at Austin for shipment, the •balance to be paid when said work of placing s^^J30^^®^8 markers is completed, inspected and accepted by the state os rexaB, acting through superintendent of Buildings or some other person designated by the Governor of Texas.
