1,	The meeting was called to order "by the Chairman,
2,	Those present wore Messrs, Y/imer, Tyrrell and Ayres, Mr* Walthall was in Hew York, Mr, Matthews was unavoidably detained,
3,	Ho Disbursement Sheet was submitted,
4,	The minutes of meetings of July 30th and August 6th were read and approved.
5,	Meeting was devoted to a discussion of San Antonio and the Texas situation as indicated by the minutes of the two previous meetings,
6,	On motion duly carried, Seo’y, Tyrrell was authorized to ask the Board of Directors, of the Chamber of Gomneree, to inquire into and report upon tIts methods and affairs of the Old Spanish Trail that the membership everywhere might be assured respecting the headquarters* management.
7, The meeting adjourned.
