Thanks very much for your timely letter of December 6th, regarding the Auto Club of America. I have before me the December 7th issue ol’ he Ajo Copper Hews from which I will quote:

Dailey and Life of the American Auotmobile Club, arrived in Yuma Sunday in the "Katy i’lycr", the club's fast and famous high powered machine, their mission being the making of road maps of the Old Spanish Trails highway, which follows the borderland of the Jnited States from San Diego to the Gulf of Mexico.

The map makers will make maps of the entire road, ana expect to be engaged in this work for more than a month. They are enthusiastic in their praise of this route for automobile travel, declaring that it is the only transcontinental automobile highway that is open to travel all the year round, and that it enjoys beautiful weather at a time when the northern routes are not to be thought of. The party left for Phoenix yesteraay-Yuipa Sun. "
