Because she makes the north and south neighbors. Because the Orange and White Way traverses the heart of the U. S. A.’s richest food producing section (meat, gram, cotton, sugar, lumber), and our greatest manufacturing center of steel, iron and wood, and the most densely populated section. Because most active and nearest completed of all our great Trans-continental Highways.
