Dear Mr. Weimar:
At your request I am writing you this letter regarding suggestions of interest to the Old Spanish Brail Assooat ion.
To begin with no employee of the Association whether on a salary or commission should be permitted to engage in any business other than that of the Old Spanish Trail Association, and their entire time be devoted to the -work of this Association.
Advertisements in the Strip Map should not be sold to other than members of the Old Spanish Trail Association,
The manager of the Membership Department should be entitled to all commissions on membership subscriptions at all times during his imcumbency. He should receive a monthly report of all business done in his department. He should have the full cooperation of the officers and directors of the Association. He should be given the power to act at once in making changes when he finds a lack of interest shown by the local Counsellors or Secretaries.
The Association should provide for stamps and stationery necessary for the transactions of his business,also business cards and telegraph collect cards be supplied.
The manager of this department (Membership) should receive a stated salary of $350.00 per month payable on the 1st and 15th. He to pay all expenses and car upkegp, if not paid a straight salary,he should be paid 33-1/3,^ commission and the upkeep of his car, I am basing the salary and commission above mentioned on the volume of business done since I went on the road for the Association,that is May 3rd. out of the period of employment I was compelled to stay 5 weeks in SI Paso and the same in San Antonio. This was caused by trouble in the office.
