Gentleraen:
In your Flag Humber (October 1917) p 338, Ho. 359, you show the royal flag of Spain, 1493, as carried by Columbus etc. with lions, on a silver field and go’d crowns over their heads.
In Hughes "Famous Flags, of America" (Library of Congress) this royal flag is shown without crowns above the lions, and the lions on a white field.
Can you advise me clearly on this?
