Thanks for the information contained in your favor of the 16th, which, is certainly startling and would appear to me to be a very embarrassing.situation for you from a financial viewpoint, as usually these things turn people against an institution quicker than anything else and while only Texas may be effected, still you have many good friends in Texas.
I am advising Mr. Kazzard. that the check will be made good so soon as funds are available.
Expect to be in the territory during the coming week and will endeavor to raise some money for the Old Spanish Trail.
