MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE OLD SPANISH TRAIL HELD IN THE OFFICE OF THE OLD SPANISH TRAIL, GUNTER HOTEL, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, MAY 29th, at 4:00 P. M. The meeting was called to order hy the Chairman. The following were present: Messrs. Kenneth Wimer, Leon N. Walthall, Percy Tyrrell and Harral B. Ayres. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Distmrsement Sheets Nos. 11 and 12 were approved. Letter of regret to Chas. N. Wuest, that circumstances made his re-election as a member of the board impossible, was sent to him and a copy filed with the executive board records. General discussion followed respecting the map advertising collections of 1922 in Texas, and problems of clearing up the Texas situation. It is generally agreed that provisions must be made to provide moneys for this work, and that the plans in progress should continue. Everyone to do all he can to help work the situation out. Mr. Ayres reported he was conferring with school teachers and others with a hope that men could be put out without undue expense, and the whole Texas'situation be straightened.out. It was also urged that the San Antonio campaign should be prosecuted as rapidly as possible. Reports, statements, trial balances and books were submitted showing that the office was once again getting back into business shape A letter was read from Mr. Herndon, respecting his claim. This was referred to the Managing Director for reply. There being no further business to discuss, the meeting adjourned. Secretary
