I have been 30 busy with farm work that I have not written you in reply to yours of the 4th.,
I have had all the details,I guess of the Pensa-r cola picnic,as you called it,and regret very much that you were unable to reach me by phone,however I would not have been able to have gone.
I am afraid our friend over there is apt to go off half cocked too often and am sorry that he left you to pull off the trip.
Shortly after the commissioners trip thru Baldwin I wrote a letter to Cramton,at his suggestion,asking . for an appointment with him also with Keller if possible in Montgomery. I have not as yet received a reply,and as it is possible that the letterwent astray I have sent out the second.' If I do not get an answer I will make the trip anyway.
TJote what you say in regard to marking on Trail and I will have Dean correct as soon as possible. We are out of funds and just preparing for another drive to refill the' coffers. We must complete the work east of Blackwater.
Have Mobile people' done anything at all toward forming a Spanish Trail Ass. or toward completing a permanent organization to Bush work on Bridge.
3?or the work you have done there,Mobile people should support your project liberally,and will I am sure if properly presented.
