Dear Sir:
Mr. Donoghue has told me of his recent visit with you and your interest in preparing a map of the Old Spanish Trail.
I seriously doubt that we would be interested in your proposition at the present time, due to the fact that we are curtailing the amount of money to be spent for such purposes during the coming year.
However, should you be in Houston any time in the near future I will be glad to discuss the matter with j^ou, but do not think it would pay you to make a trip here for this purpose.
