It is the wish of the Convention Committee that delegates arrive on the 17th, if possible, so as to become acquainted in advance of the Convention. The delegates are "urged to register at headquarters, Leon Hotel, as soon as possible after arrival. As you are aware, the object of the Old Spanish Trail Association is to hasten the completion of the most important southern coast highway in the United States, and the greater the membership, the more influence that can be brought to bear upon officials having to do with road construction. Your personal cooperation is needed and will be welcomed; we especially urge that you attend this convention. Instructive addresses will be made by men of prominence and authorities on road building. As the Legislature will be in session and many vistors here, it is requested that your acceptance of our invitation be forwarded by May 5th, so that we may arrange for your accommodation. All cities sending official delegates will be given space to display advertising folders or booklets to the number of one hundred.
