I note in letter received from you/that you have not heard from me for eight days. I'm sorry; had not realized it had been so long since I had written. Will try to give you a few details.
Statement of bank account is enclosed. The check from Beaumont was the.balance of a 1921 membership. Suppose if Mr. Baird knew of it he would say he had gone around to see them while there. Will send them weekly as you requested. Am sorry I waited so long to send this one.
Am enclosing the literature soliciting advertisements for the year book. The letter doesn't look very good. The paper was yellow to begin with and then I got out of mimeograph ink. I think the long sheet giving the contents of the year book, and the contract look better. Had new ink with them. Mimeograph ink cost S3.GO for a pound can. Thought you said it was about two collars. Suppose you will say "This is very poor work'." It won't be the first time you have said that. Think this would have been much better if I could have typed the letters but it would have taken the rest of my natural life. Anyway I didn't have the time as I have envelopes to address, statements to make out, stencils to run off (haven't cut the stencils yet, but I have been thinking about it so much I feel rig. t weary) and then Mr. Colp always has a bunch of letters to get off. It isn't that I mind working; I think it is a great deal more tiresome just sitting around without anything to do, but it is thinking "WHEN in Heaven's name am I going to get it done'..'" that gets on my nerves.
’I note what you say about sending bulletins and statements in separate envelopes if they happen to be over weight. When you take irivto consideration the extra envelopes and the labor attached, do ■ you think it would be any cheaper? You would only save 1<£ in stamps and I believe you would loss that in envelopes. Am I right? Please advise me.

You sure got me in "Dutch" when you wrote Mr. Colp telling him ..hat moneys you had sent in. Dr. Johnston said not to discuss financial affairs with him, and I haven't been saying anything about the 'amounts you had sent in. When Mr. Colp received that letter he didn't say anything but he looked at me in a very peculiar fashion.

Mr. Colp is the only one who ever does ask me, and I hate especially to treat him that way as he has always been awfully nice to me and I feel kind of low-down about it.
