EDITORIAL r APARTMENT 119 WEST 40TT STREET. NEW YORK May 14, 1917 S. A. Lo Blanc Esq., Old Spanish Trail Assn., Mobile, Ala. My dear Mr Le Blanc: After reading your letter of May 11th and also the circular letter enclosed I am of the opinion that you can secure great cooperation in the scheme to bring about a Coastal Military Highway by communicating with Mr. A, G, Batchelder, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the American Automobile Assn., Riggs Eldg., Washington, D. C. As I understand it the A. A. A. at the present time is greatly interested in this proposition and I think that maybe you can learn something to your advantage by communicating with Mr. Batchelder, who you will remember recently visited the south with Senator Bankhead at the time that gentleman sprung his proposed Bankhead Highway. Yours very truly KoToR /< _ ■'/ fUy _7„ Editor cgs/gc
