COOPERATION REQUESTED.
All Chambers of Commerce are requested to assume responsibility for delegations from their district., and for officials whose presence at (lie Convention will he of value. They also are requested to reach the Women’s Clubs in their district and arrange for delegates to the Parliament o1' the Women on Highway Beautification. Also to ask the Mayors to appoint delegates from the community. Please appoint a special committee to this work, and notify New Orleans office. This Convention is planned to be not only a great impulse toward opening this Highway, but to show the Nation the travel opportunities of this Southern Country.
A special train, or special Pullman coaches, will if possible be arranged to start from St. Augustine, and from San Diego.
New Orleans, as host, is planning to perform her part splendidly.
Field men are now in Uou isiana, and the marking of the highway to St. Augustine, the map service, logging and camp-site work will be promptly completed, if the people respond with the money for the expense, and we believe they will.
