delegates will eoEe in their cars over the 1'rail, hut some members of this Club and the Tallahassee ^otor Club will be at the depot and watching the Highway for arrivals. I will check up everything with you in the evening, early or late, whatever time can best be had for this work.
I have many, many faults, but if I thought that I had one drop of "slacker blood" in my veins, 1 would get some leaches,at once. 1 did not realise how hard success comes,but I have not spared myself.although I could not put through all that I wanted to do. S0, forgive as best you can.
Tir. Edward Conradi,President of the Florida State College for Y/omen, who is our First Vice-President, , will preside at the Convention, and he is a fine man and good speaker. This has been my wish, all along, but did not see how it was going to be accomplished. Perhaps, Fate may have some excellent cards that will be shown us later on? l}r. Conradi has helped me loyally--royally— and i hope that you will take the chance to compliment him at the Convention,on his co-operation; he deserves public recognition,for he is the only man on our Boardtexcept ^r.Byrd)who has hacked me up about sending out the cars. I certainly wish that F were "twins", just for a few days, so that I might send my better half to Miami to fulfill the Club s agreement with you. Well,I hope that_I may serve in some way to make up to the OST Association this failure; F hope that it may prove to be "a blessing in disguise".
I am enclosing check for photographer,and will thank you to call him up and have him come to your office to receipt bill. The matter can wait until after you return from the Convention. The pictures are good. I had two sent out,today,one to Jacksonville Times-Union and one to the- Tampa Tribune. Will get out others when the story of the Convention is sent out. I will save two,for you and ^resident Pillans• I intended that you should keep the two mounted ones,but since they'' are here,will use them to display here,and have others mounted for you.
