Dear Mrs. Smith:-
Replying to yours of the 4th regarding laws of this State relating to advertising signs, the only provisions we have affecting this situation is in the State Highway Lav/ of 1925 which gives the State Highway Department jurisdiction over advertising on state roads. These roads however, constitute only 7600 miles out of a total of 110,000 miles in Missouri.
This organization very much favors the movement to eliminate the abuse of advertising signs, but so far as I know, it has not been taken up by other organizations in this State. We would be glad to cooperate with you.
