Although you state that the Bulletin was the only evidence of the existenceof the O.S.T., I take issue to the extent of stating there are some very good road maps in existence telling of it and I almost daily write some one regarding them. Just now answered one from Long Beach, Cal. ibid I have just 200 of those Official Guides left and I wonder if there is not some scheme you can figure to acquire them. They are with the publishers of them here in Dallas for the xbs: reason that I still owe therm a little money on that job.
If I could get :;;>50 for them I would be tickled to death and then the Association could likely get some others to take them in small quantities. The entire edition of the new large bocks had been sold with the exception of a very few for they have been in great demand throughout the Southwest.
I have a new Buick and am starting on a & 6000 rnile trip which will lead me to Denver, Kansas City, Memphis, Corpus Christi and a lot of other places. Then I’ll publish some more bocks.
If I can get back in the south this winter 1 want to but the experience I had there before was not productive of financial results sufficient to warrant my return at this time. V/hat do you think about it?
Your description of that journey 'was very interesting and I’m glad you really got away from your home roads. It was no surprise to learn that the O.S.T compared most favorable with other routes. That I have known for a long time. And I trust improvements mil keep it far in advance of others. But '.7hy ship back? That is not the real way to take a tour.
Do try and take ever the supply of bo Acs and then the whole would mil have to come to you to get the Official Guides.
