MYERS ED. FLETCHER. 1 VICE-PRESJ Since last writing we have treen visited by the Tallahassee Convention car which was given arousing reception here, being met at f«rry and later escorted to the Mis^ issippi Line after meeting. Reception all along the way seems to have been most enthusiastic and from information that has reached us it will be the sane the balance of the way. For the first time since Organization Headquarters is in receipt of the kind of information that it would like to get every week, covering the whole Spanish Trail from Ocean to Ocean, Information at hand covers only Tallahassee to ITew Orleans, and was sent by the Convention car in the form of post cards. We wish there ware somebody in each section who would send us a post card living similar- informationweekly. Reports are as fellows;- quincy to Marianna, good, except old road from River to main road coming into Sneads. From Marianna to Re Funiak Sprin gs is good, except part from Ch ip ley to within six mils of Re Funiak which was bad, from" Re Funiak to Crestview it is good. From Cre/.etview to Munson is wavy with sand. From Munson to Chumuckia Springs is new, but passable. From Chumuckia Springs to Pensacola is good, except two miles out of Chumuckia. Pensacola to Fairhope (via Lillian Ferry) is poor butpeople enthusiastic.(This is not the route of "The Old Spanish Trail at present). jf From Mobile to Pascagoula is fair with one bad 'stretch of sand (due to roads bein g prepared for hardsur-f acing). From Pascagoula to Biloxi is good. From Biloxi to Gulfport is fine-right along the Coastal though not quite finished. Fro m Gulfport to Pass Christian is good. From Pass Christian to St. Louis is a good sand road, From Bay St. Louis to Slidell is good. Prom Slidell to Mandeville is good. From Milne burg to ITew Orleans is good. The above omits Fairhope to Mobile and Mandeville to Milneburg, both of which are ferries.
