Reply for Arizona by Mr. Ilarry Locke, of Arizona. Reply for Louisiana by .Mr. Lucicn K. Lyons, Jr., of New Orleans, who introduced a letter from Commissioner, Lafave. of New Orleans, advising that the work on the section of ."The Old Spanish Trail” from New Orleans to the .Mississippi Slate line had already been contracted for and should be finished during litlti. Reply for Florida by Mr Y. L. Watson, of Quincy, Florida. Reply for Mississippi by Senator Frank S. White,C-of Birmingham. formerly a Mississippian. Motion by Senator Watson, seconded by Mr. Clarkson, that reading of reports be deferred until after effecting temporary organization. Chairman Pillans rules •motion is out of order. On Mr. Watson's appeal being put to the Convention the Chair was sustained and Scout Emmett proceeded to read his report 1o the Convention. ('apt.
