This Convention is planned to be not. only a great impulse toward opening this Highway, but to show the Nation the travel opportunities of this Southern Country. A special train, or special Pullman coaches, will if possible be arranged to start from St. Augustine, and from San Diego. New Orleans, as host, is planning to perform her part splendidly. Field men arc now in Louisiana, and the marking of the highway to St. Augustine, the map service, logging and camp-site work will be promptly completed, if the people respond with the money for the expense, and we believe they will.
